Community Leadership Council
Williamson County
WHY COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP COUNCIL
Our nation and more locally, the community, functions best when people get involved. The fundamentals of our republic and municipalities are based on citizens voicing their opinions and taking actions to build and sustain vibrant, economically sustainable cities, towns, and neighborhoods. Historically, dedicated individuals have stepped up to lead and guide these efforts. Time and life circumstances, however, have significantly impacted the number and caliber of people willing to take on these critical leadership roles. Furthermore, many small group ideological doctrines have replaced collaborative governance and economic vitality to the detriment of the greater good. Ultimately, these fragmented entities will erode and potentially destroy all the good that has been created over the years.

Our History
The Community Leadership Council was formed in 2025 to stimulate economic development efforts in the community through a variety of efforts and initiatives. The original founders were Melissa Alexander, Steve Bacon, Dan Klatt, Logan Matthews, and Bob Ravener. These founders intended that the CLC be non-partisan. These founders established the organization to work in the main areas of focus, each intertwined with one another and listed in the Mission/Purpose.
Membership was limited by invitation by the Board of Directors to individuals, couples, and organizations of influence in the community.
“Our community is too important to stand on the sidelines. Good people do good things to make life better for all.”
BOB RAVENER
